How to Increase Race Walking's Visibility
Be a spectator. Fitness walkers, please support our race walkers by attending race walk events and cheering them on. Race walking is an age old Olympic sport that needs more visibility. Michigan has just a few USATF judged race walk events for you to support. Race walkers bring your fan club. Encourage your family and friends to come and cheer you on. Why? More spectators on the sidelines will increase media interest, which increases race walk visibility.
